I updated The Monkees Season 1 of The Monkees episode guide, Monkees A La Episode. I can’t believe it’s been exactly a year since I first started and posted about it… I also can’t believe that apparently I did this on almost the exact same *day* in March. Makes you wonder what my life in March is like… Although, I do have a tendency to start projects on a certain day, put them on hold, and pick them up again exactly one year later.
At any rate, after letting the writing “rest” for a bit, I worked on it further recently, and added quotes to all the episodes. It will probably always be a work in progress for me, but I think it’s at least worthy of Google.
It’s been very joyous re-watching these episodes. I feel very fortunate to have the series on DVD, as it seems to be currently out of print. Years ago I hinted [or all out *asked*] Micky to give me a copy of The Monkees series on DVD, because I had this idea he had “extra copies” given to him by Rhino/Time Warner. It turns out that wasn’t a real thing, but he very kindly bought them for me instead. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. 😃
The Monkees on Blue-Ray is available, however.
